Status doesn't display correctly in Windows conhost

Replace with unicode chars that work in Windows consoles' code page (or perhaps use a crate that matches output to consolehost codepage eg crossterm?)
eg. 
Works in Windows Terminal, not in conhost. Same font. Same codepage (850)
Haven't been able to figure this out so for now: recommend use of Windows Terminal rather than conhost.
