Bug(?): "Use browser chooser" it is not suitable for everyone

"Use browser chooser" doesn't work with browsers like Soul Browser, couldn't you just have the links open in "external browsers" instead of "browser chooser"?
I have Soul as my default browser, and the "browser chooser" thing doesn't even appear and X opens the links in the internal browser anyway
You can disable "Use in-app browser" feature under Settings to let the app open links in your default browser.

Try under Settings -> Accessibility, display and languages -> Display
