Repository of up-to-date R/BioC packages as .deb packages ready to be used in Travis

Hi,

I currently have a Travis CI process that is spending about 80% of its time fetching, building, and install R-packages that are dependencies.

While I can find a PPA with r-base and r-recommended, I cannot seem to find one with all of BioC or CRAN. Having this for released CRAN/BioC packages would extremely helpful in cutting down the time between a push/pull request and the outcome.

Issues #102 and #117 are somewhat related to this, although not completely.

yes, it would be great if such a thing existed. the only one i know of is marutter's that we already use.

i'm closing because this isn't something we can fix -- but definitely reopen if you run into a well-maintained PPA!

OK. I am currently trying to pitch the idea on the bioconductor-dev mailing-list...
