Hi, I've seen that some of these libraries are not maintained.

I'm offering to step in and maintain these libraries, if the help is wanted.

I'm keen to improve the libraries, especially as so many people currently rely on them.

My idea is to go over all the libraries, and to try and resolve as many of the low hanging fruit as possible (the issues that do not require breaking changes) for a minor update, then to add breaking changes in a second pass, for a new major update.
