Could you please create a new official version for this package which supports php8

We are migrating to php8, but the newest version of the satis package does not support php8 and we have a policy to only include official versions in our dependancies.

dev-main is an official version.

It does not have a related version tag. So, if you could create a new version tag, it would help a lot.

We stopped tagging Satis a long time ago. Satis is an application, not a library. We only offer branches now.

Maybe you should review your policy. Policies should not get in the way of getting things done.

I use composer/satis as a dependency for a home project that includes the configuration and other custom commands. Using dev-main branch is enough as soon as the dependencies are locked. All commits on are validated in CI and can be considered as an "official version".
