fix #banner background on old phones

This banner fails on older iPhones and iPads. Probable issue with banner-size or banner-position.
I'll be damned; the old high resolution image works great, the new one does not. Maybe something to do with encoding?

I just tried saving a version using GIMP as a lower resolution progressive JPG. Some jpg artifacts can be seen on the left side by the strings.
If this works, I should consider saving a variation again, this time as a higher resolution JPG using the same method.
Works on Nancy's iPad!
