Hey there,

it would be nice to have an option to disable the inline suggestions, preferably via hotkey.

Im mainly using the eclipse version, but i haven't found an option for that in VSCode either.

cheers :)

@TzufTabnine Thank you for the quick response!

The VSCode page is very helpfull, i just didnt find it.

The second link doesnt show any solution to my problem in eclipse, other than setting inline_suggestions_mode to false in the config file, which does not seem to work:

I am using the following versions:
Eclipse Version: 2023-03 (4.27.0)
Eclipse Build id: 20230309-1520
Tabnine for Eclipse: 0.1.8

@HeyImSolace What is your goal with that? Please describe as much as you can.
We don't have this feature in Eclipse at the moment.

@TzufTabnine getting incorrect suggestions sometimes ruin my train of thought. I used to use Copilot and i started disabling the suggestions while working on something the AI didn't seem to understand correctly.
I want to do the same here: Activating the suggestions when i can get good use out of them, but disabling them when they're in the way.

@HeyImSolace When you say 'inline,' what exactly do you mean? Like coding and getting suggestions? We don't have that feature . You can either not use Tabnine or disable it for a certain file extension (using the Hub).

Exactly like you're saying. Coding and having code appear as a suggestion, just like the image in a previous comment.

thats a bummer. It would be very nice if you could consider adding it in. The VSCode extension seems to have an option for that too.

@HeyImSolace
We will definitely consider it.
