Simplify document lists

Currently, the recent documents and all documents lists are duplicate and confusing to some.
My proposal would be to show one list with all documents from all sources mixed, sorted by last open date if known and last modification date otherwise. Dropbox documents would have a Dropbox icon. Optionally we could have a dropdown (setting) for alphabetic ordering. Then, either we remove the preview or we reserve a fixed height for a preview and load those that are scrolled into view.
Thoughts? Which would you prefer?
