Add ability to disable day/night

Some planets in the universe lack a day or night.
Having the ability to disable either one would enable people to create interesting extraterrestrial experiences.
Note: Disabling the day/night cycle stops the sun/moon's movement. The intent here is to have a sun that continues to move; where, instead of the sky darkening and the moon coming up in the sky where the sun began, the sun reemerges and repeats its path.
Are you talking about disabling the movement of sun and moon individually? As in you would have the sun continually move on its path essentially taking the place of the moon, presumably because there would be more then one sun. I guess the same would go for the moon.
