[Feature Request] support ActivityPub relays

Since mastodon only publishes a toot to its followers, you can't find much content on your public timeline if you are running a personal instance. ActivityPub relays are designed to solve this problem: they forward every toot from instance to instance.
Support connecting to ActivityPub relays would be great.
