ButterPayroll, A Payroll System

This project is a Payroll system that uses a local database to store, modify and view employees for a buisness. This project was created in Visual Studio 2013 using c#.

Fuctionality Includes:

Adding an Employee.

Modifing an Employee.

Deleting an Employee.

Print Preview as psydo-check and direct deposit slip.

Have real life deductions such as taxes, medical, cafeteria benifits, as well as optical and dental.

Allowing only full time employees to recieve benifits.

Changing data on insurance information (such as contract renegotiation for said company).

Real time error checking.

Timeing:

Most of the coding was done by Michael Ruffe and Jelzon Monzon, which was done on and off for the past month Data gathering and information, as well as additional coding was done by William Diaz SRS requirements for documented and formalized by Kevin Mac

Inception:

This Payroll system was given as a term project for a Software Engineering class in the College of Staten Island. During early devolopment, when nothing seemed to run as exspected, a joke was made about how smooth the Close(); function was in c#. The joke continued with that fuction being "buttery smooth" and our name of a system was found ButterPayroll.
