itemType and type questions

OGC seems to use some itemType and some item, generally meaning the same thing. Should figure out where / when to use each.

Also tiles defines an enum of map, coverage and feature, while records seems to have 'dataset' as a thing. Should get to the enumerated list of options used to tell people.
