Image posts as plain text

I've tried to post a tweet with a picture, but unfortunately the picture doesn't get posted.

I've tried the following things:

• [[picture-locally.png]]
• ![[picture-locally.png]]
• ![](https://picture-externally.com/picture.png)

They all post as plain text, image is never added.
Am I doing something wrong?

The image post function cannot be used. It relies on the Twitter v1.1 endpoints API, which is not a free function in X after 2023.
