What is de introduction message for

The comment says: 'The "invisibleIntroduction" is the text used for short preview'
But when does the receiver see this message?
The idea behind that is sometimes you don't want to have the long text shown before your logo or anything but you still want to show a text as a preview message before the user opens it.
Like this:

In preview message and not in the main inbox text.

I had my first email address 18 years ago but I don't think I ever saw a 'preview message'
Can you explain this a bit more? I feel like removing it from the template....... But if you can convince me to keep it ;)
Lol, its totally up to you. It is the little intro text that shows before you open a message.
