Laggy hot water animation

Now water in the nether is animated (if enabled in config) like this: every water block placed in the nether generates smoke effect in regular intervals. It's not too beautiful as it sounds and mainly it causing FPS drops and lags.

I think top water blocks will be sufficient. Water will generates smoke to the air and the water will be a lot cleaner and primarily - there will be minimal count of smoke generation blocks.
