How can I assign an designated user to sent?

hello sir,
When I run the script , I face the problem as below.
[root@ns2 /opt/smokeping/etc]# sh smokeping-mtr-alert-wrapper
error running MTR.
BTW, Could you tell me how to set up an user to sent?
