BitDefender blocking it.

When I unzip the file, BitDefender immediately delete it.
Although I can turn off BitDefender to run the screen saver, it is not possible to disable it every time I need a screen saver.
Is there a work around to prevent that?

11 out of 55 detectors from VirusTotal are reporting the screensaver as a Generic Trojan. :/ This doesn't necessarily mean anything. I've had similar problems in the past with screensavers I've developed myself.

As far as BitDefender is concerned you can report the file to them as a false positive to have them update their definition files. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/what-to-do-when-bitdefender-detected-a-clean-file-as-infected-(false-positive)-851.html

I've submitted the screensaver to them. I'll update the call when I hear back from them.

And what happens if you compile from source?

Sadly, I don't have the tool to compile the code.

I've submitted the false positive to bitdefender, hopefully they will fix the error on their part.

It's a pain in the backside but you might want to submit your screensaver to the other vendors who flag it as malicious, so they can update their definitions. Another company similar to VirusTotal has collected their contact pages here... https://www.opswat.com/blog/what-do-i-do-if-engine-detects-my-safe-file-threat

Same here with McAfee

Submitted to McAfee, thanks @guik67 and @alistairmcmillan .

Windows Defender v 1.209.1771.0 also wasn't happy with it on Windows 10 Pro x64, v10.0.10240:

@dieseltravis Submitted to Microsoft to have them update their virus definitions.
