Edge appear above nodes after toggling

After clicking twice on a legend item of type edge, edges of that class appear above all other nodes and edges. This behaviour results from the use of map.addTo and the way svg children elements are sequentially rendered. Most likely, the toggle feature will have to implement some css visibility trick some custom classes.
Sequence of steps leads to an error:
- Toggle edge
- Move the time cursor
- Move back
- Edge appears
