Rip out named pipe support

Feature Description
Trying to maintain multiple official remote connectors is going to get REALLY confusing to users/developers, and we just had our first dev get stuck on this via looking at the examples. Rip out named pipes, and probably also rip out examples in preference of pointing people at the dev guide.
