[QUESTION] How to build from source?

I am using Termux and it does not support any other packet manager other than its own, so how can I use lolcat on there? I am wanting to know if it's possible to build from source, I have absolutely no experience what so ever in Ruby

Edit: Installed it by running the following commands in console:

pkg install ruby
gem install lolcat
