Make sure you update the files with the right paths.
Install the .desktop file with
desktop-file-install --dir=/usr/share/applications browser-router.desktop
and update with
update-desktop-database /usr/share/applications
Copy url-whitelist.txt.sample to url-whitelist.txt and stick whatever matching strings you want in there, one per line.
Set "Browser Router" as your default browser, and enjoy.
