Feature Request: Decode/Read Functionality

Would it be possible to add the decoding or reading functionality to the package? Going through the code, I couldn't find any. Unless the purpose is solely to create barcodes.
Hi,
I will not implement this since it will require lots of code for image processing etc. and very little of the current code can be reused for decoding barcodes.
