Local Hosting

Download NodeJS v16.6+ at https://nodejs.org/en/

Download this repo in your desired directory

git clone https://github.com/LeftAutomated/CoCo.git

Change to the cloned directory

cd CoCo

Install node dependencies:

npm install

Change .env.sample to .env file and edit TOKEN, INSTAGRAM_WEBHOOK_ID, and so on...

To test the bot run

npm run test

To build the bot run

npm run build

Run this command in the terminal to activate the bot

npm run start

Server Hosting (24/7 for free)

Create a repl at https://replit.com
Template: Typescript

Download this repo in the shell

git clone https://github.com/LeftAutomated/CoCo.git

Make sure to pull all the files and folders out from CoCo folder

Install node dependencies and build in the shell:

npm install node@16.6

Add Secrets (environmental variables)

Token

Key: TOKEN

Value: YOUR TOKEN

INSTAGRAM_WEBHOOK_ID

Key: INSTAGRAM_WEBHOOK_ID

Value: YOUR INSTAGRAM_WEBHOOK_ID

and so on...

Use the Run button to activate the bot and server

Copy the url (ends with .repl.co)

Create a monitor at https://replit.com

Monitor Type: HTTP(s)

Friendly Name: ANY NAME

URL: PASTE URL (ends with .repl.co)

Check the email contact for monitor alerts
