Keep original colors when selecting one specific label

I was wondering if it would be possible to keep the original colors (the color of the labels) when selecting papers belonging to a specific label. I mean in this view:

For example, for chemistry, to show these points in the green hue corresponding to chemistry:

Not urgent and if it is complicated also not necessary. But I thought it would look cooler. Also that way it is easier for people to locate a label of their choice in the global embedding, if they associate it already with the color and don't need to look for the floating names in the map.
