Forbidden replies are still indicated by reply count

Describe the bug

It's possible to increment the reply counter on "Nobody can reply" posts by sending forbidden replies.

To Reproduce

Send a reply from a custom PDS while the reply controls of the replied-to post forbid this.

Expected behavior

Since the post is rejected by the frontend, it shouldn't increment the reply count either.

Screenshots

The post in question:
A post with "Replies to this thread are disabled" and no replies, but a reply count of one.

Details

  • Platform: desktop Vivaldi windows, Android
  • Platform version: 6.7.3329.39 (Stable channel) (64-Bit), Android 14
  • App version: 1.83.0.190 9eed704

Additional context

Indication of invisible replies is a potential harassment vector, especially on posts where they're supposed to be restricted.
(This used to be a slight problem on Twitter where replies and quotes could be hidden in locked accounts but still "count".)

commented

It seems the reply also turns up when I search for to:me (fully visible, mentioning me and in reply to me, but detached from the post), but I didn't get a notification for it at all.
