Feature: Desktop Icons open on DoubleClick

In windows when we click on an icon in the desktop it selects it and in this windows it opens it.
Describe the solution you'd like
I want to change this and will make it that the application or folder or anything it opens on doubleClick and on a single click the icon is selected and then on right click some more options regarding that icon are added.
I am starting work on it.
