Cannot get mono nerd fonts to work on iPhone

It's quite strange, on the iPad the Jetbrains mono nerd fonts provided in this repository are working fine, while on the iPhone after following exactly the same instal procedure they are not working.
Do anyone managed to get it works?
Got it to work, you have to exit the current session to have it reload configuration, restart the app is not enough, you have to write "exit" and have the session to be reloaded
