Make Esc work to go back

What should happen:
Pressing the Esc key in a "modal" view should bring me back to the main screen.
What happened instead:
It does nothing!
How to reproduce:
- On the main screen, tap on a toot
- It opens a "modal" conversation view, with a sleek "back" button in the top left corner
- Tap the Esc key, expecting to go back to the main screen (same as tapping the on-screen back button)
- But it doesn't do that 😢
