Unable to run on Ubuntu

Have downloaded and installed your deb file for Ubuntu but cannot run it at all. There are warnings and errors in the syslog:

What is your version of ubuntu?

with 17.10 I just installed the .deb file and then get this when i call form console
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "overlay-scrollbar"
/usr/share/themes/Ambiance/gtk-2.0/apps/mate-panel.rc:30: error: invalid string constant "murrine-scrollbar", expected valid string constant
I think the problem with Ubuntu 17.10 could be linked to the use of Wayland instead of X.

Same problem here .. sounds like a great app, would be great to get it working here.
