Doesn't hide gitgutter

When using Git Gutter, lite-dfm doesn't hide it, as seen in this screenshot:

Side note: I just figured out how to clear that ugly dark grey, so it's not nearly as much of a problem.

I'm actually surprised I don't have gitgutter in my vimrc. I know for a fact I used to use it.

Question: Are you a ghost?

This issue never once showed up under the issues list, and still isn't there. The only way I got here was through the email. Is this like a private issue or something? Or possibly a bug in GitHub?
