The zmbkpose tool is a shell script that does hot backup and hot restore of ZCS Opensource accounts, GPL(OPENSOURCE). It can run from any host in the net, which means that it can be set on a backup server already existent.

aliases and distributions lists are not restored with zmbkpose -restoreAccount

Yes... true.
I am completely rewriting the project. I will try to implement this requirement.

On the new version(2.0) this functions are added.
See the options: --backupAlias , ---restoreAlias, --backupDistributionList, --restoreDistributionList
