Only seeing readme.md when I open my homepage

Hi!
I was trying to build my personal portfolio site using the template by @bchiang7
Following is the link to the repo - https://github.com/kaushalrai7797/kaushalrai7797.github.io
I am able to see my web page when I run the command "npm run serve" locally.
However, when I pushed the changes, I only see the content of readme.md file on - https://kaushalrai7797.github.io/
In case someone has faced this issue, can you help me in resolving it?
I did follow some online blogs on it, but wasnt able to find anything useful.
