Hello,

After updating CentOS stream 8 from Cent OS. NixNote2 will not work...

AppImageLauncher:51928): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 19:57:39.628: gtk_widget_class_bind_template_callback_full: assertion 'widget_class->priv->template != NULL' failed
/home/may/Applications/NixNote2-x86_64_e92eba960dbd760201fb642d08bcbeb5.AppImage: /tmp/.mount_NixNotUu7Zwt/usr/bin/../lib/libgnutls.so.30: version `GNUTLS_3_6_9' not found (required by /lib64/libglib-2.0.so.0)

please let me know what to do.

hi,
you did not write from where did you taken the AppImage
is it from releases in my repository (https://github.com/robert7/nixnote2/releases) ?
because you did create ticket in abandoned upstream..

if yes... then it was built using https://github.com/probonopd/linuxdeployqt/releases/download/continuous/linuxdeployqt-continuous-x86_64.AppImage
and you may check, if it is problem of linuxdeployqt (e.g. if other app images from there are working)

Sorry Robert, lacked my detailed information,

is it from releases in my repository (https://github.com/robert7/nixnote2/releases) ?
Yes,
if yes... then it was built using https://github.com/probonopd/linuxdeployqt/releases/download/continuous/linuxdeployqt-continuous-x86_64.AppImage and you may check, if it is problem of linuxdeployqt (e.g. if other app images from there are working)
Okay make sense.

:)
you can check if other AppImages build using same tool are working on your distribution..
sorry I'm out of time to do the check myself

but if you can find out, that it is problem of linuxdeployqt .. you may create a ticket there
if it if not, them maybe rebuild of the image will fix it (I could try that later)

i triggered a new build.. on develop branch, if you are lucky, then after rebuild it will work

i did rebuild the AppImage from the develop branch... you can try if it works for your distribution
