Double Click Doesn't Trigger Show

This had been reported previously: #269
I am running Mint 19.2 Cinnamon and every time I click on the icon I get the context menu.
Ultimately, I would love a keyboard shortcut to show NN2. Is that possible?
This repository is currently not maintained (as the maintainer is not reachable).

In 2.1 the tray click works - I get context menu for click, "show action" for double click and "new note" on "middle click" (as configured in Edit/Preferences7Appearance) - at least it works for Ubuntu 18.04 - I'm not sure about Cinnamon..
