Surface Pro 7 I5 8GB 256GB restarts instead of shuts down

Hello. Fresh install of MacOS Ventura plus your EFI unmodified copied to the EFI folder. Shutting down from the Apple Menu causes the surface to restart instead of shut down. Looked at OC documentation and it looks like it may be a USB issue, as found here. If this patch could be implemented that would be great. I'm also willing to test before you commit if needed. Thank you.

My surface has the same problem
It's caused by VoodooInput. See here: Xiashangning/BigSurface#48
Wanted to post this for you all as well. I was able to add the appropriate fixes for this issue to the BigSurface.kext pending the changes being officially integrated into a new release.
Please see the link below to get the fixed version of BigSurface.kext that resolves the Kernel Panic issues.
