SP7 constantly reboots

My SP7 i7-1065G7 (model 1866) constantly reboots after I login. It won't do it if I don't login and stay at the login screen. I've tried adjusting the resolution and updating my kexts to the latest versions but no dice. Seems like a graphics issue since logging in with the igfxvesa boot arg stops it. I've looked all over for a solution, trying varous boot args and suggestions but no luck so far. issue basically renders the Surface useless as I'm lucky to get 10 seconds of use in before it reboots. Any ideas or inputs are highly appreciated!
Disregard, turns out it's a legitimate hardware issue.
