Support for Emacs shortcuts on the Mac?

In most places on the Mac, you can use ctrl+p instead of the up arrow, and ctrl+n instead of the down arrow (among other emacs navigation shortcuts). I use this a lot in the IDEA quick switch menu. Would it be possible to support these as alternatives for the arrow keys? , There's a lot of muscle memory history there, and this would make this extension so much more useful for me.
