UBUNTU 22.04 - linux-mediatree hangs lightdm

Upon system boot lightdm fails to start looping indefinitely.
Std Ubuntu kernel (not mediatree) boots flawlessly.
Since this is a testing system there is no hauppauge board installed.
I am just testing before moving my current PVR from Ubuntu 20.04.
