More Direction for New Users

Being new to AWS tooling, I am not sure what to do when I run rain info and get:
a region was not specified. You can run 'aws configure' or choose a profile with a region
It seems I need to create a config file or setup an AWS CLI or something. Could there be a bit more help in this situation? Could it prompt me for the region? Help me login? Etc?
