Unable to get activation bytes

First off I love the tool and it has worked great so far. However, on a few files (seems to be shorter files) I am getting the "An error occurred while resolving the activation bytes."
Do you know what might be causing that? I'm using in browser.
Is it really aax? With the mobile aaxc it doesnt work :/

definitely a .AAX file, but the activation bytes keep coming back as 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000
@Erudition what does ffmpeg say? It should give you the checksum.
You mean a local run of ffmpeg?
If I run it without the activation bytes, it produces a correct but silent file, and the output below. I'm not sure where the checksum is or how that would help.

Sorry, I assumed AAXC would have the file extension .AAXC. I downloaded this on the website from my audible library as usual, so I have no idea how to get an aax file anymore.
