I am exploring astilectron capabilities and came here to read the bootstrap documentation as strongly suggested here, however it's unclear how one is supposed to use the tool.

The best is to clone the demo project and start from there. Once you manage to bundle and run it, you'll understand better how the whole ecosystem works.
