Assault cube/AC why devs didnt upload new version to repo, why there is no deb installer for linux?

installing from tar file is exhausting, annoying, i wonder why devs didnt upload new version to repos yet, its been 2 years since lock down version(1.3) is released.
deb file would be great to install easily just as exe for windows, hope devs would come up with that thing.
