Dexed is crashing when automating control changes in Studio One

I am on a Mac Mini M2, everything seems to work fine with just sequencing but not sure.
- First I lost all my controller mappings in Dexed and it crashed
- Then it would only let me select certain knobs even though it allowed my prior to use ones that were no longer being recognized
- When I let it play midi for a like 10 minutes it would randomly crashes
There are known issues with VST3 automation with 0.9.6. Please confirm if the issue is still present with the pre-release version.
Not really what I wanted to see here…

I was able to get this installed but the automation does not work at all at this point. At least not in Studio.
