1.0 alpha, but all other versions too
OS/device including version:
nvidia 1070
Issue description:
normals of high/extreme values get clipped to black. this includes common values when viewed at glancing angles.
check https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/109679 and https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/109763 for potential fix methods and info.
Steps to reproduce:
anything with normals of certain extreme angles, or viewing of glancing angles will create this issue.
