Website-Blocking-by-Python

This is a real world application which can be used in every single day for your personal use. This program can multiply your work productivity. It's a simple yet tricky website blocking program built on python runs on the background and what it does is, it doesn't let you browse certain certain distracting websites such as Facebook or Twitter or your mail account during your working hours. The idea is that once you build this program you pass to the program website links as strings that you think are distracting. You may also pass the time that you are working on your computer and the program will block these websites during these working hours. And in that way you not only are much more productive but this also reduces stress as distraction is also known to cause stress. In this program I have focused on file manipulation and worked with dates and times and also worked with the aspect of running a python program as a process in the background as soon as the computer starts. The program is tested to work on Windows, Mac and Linux.

Interactive-Dictionary

In this program an user can enter any word in English, and he will get back the meaning of it. That's not the real elegance of it. It is somewhat intelligent in deciding whether the entered word is correctly spelt or not and accordingly it will give a pop up message displaying some related word matches with what the user intended to enter. For a given word an user get multiple meaning of it with different aspect. Hence it's a great interactive program which can somehow replace the needs of google translator.

Here I have created a web map that is displayed through a browser and can be visited through the web. This map is built with Python and Folium. The map has three layers. It has a base map layer, a polygon layer which represents the population of the countries and also a point layer to point different volcanoes in USA.
