Freezes when closes any full length video when hide double tap to seek overlay is enabled

Describe the bug
It freezes anytime I try to close a full length video (shorts are not effected), but the audio keeps playing. The audio even keeps playing a bit after I force close it…
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Open YouTube on the specified version.
- Open a full length video.
- Try to close said video.
Crash log (if the app crashes)
It only crashes if I soft close and reopen. And theirs two logs, one looks normal, but the other is dated wrong, but appears after the crash log…

Does the issue happen with the official YouTube from AppStore?

That works, TYSM, any idea how to fix it? I'll keep the issue open till then.
i have the same issue, even when “Hide Double tap to seek Overlay” is off. any ideas?
edit: disabling all the options in the uyou video player settings seems to fix it
