Expected Behavior
As our group expands to a variety of super computers, the guide for Blue Waters could have general information about applying to super computers reflecting the drafts in our drive. It could answer questions like:
- How do you figure out the amount of compute time you'll need?
- What are the steps to identify the type of machine you want to work with?
- Are there any existing resources we can/want to link to about adapting code for a super computer?
Actual Behavior
This doesn't yet exist.

- Check out the Blue Waters guide
How can this issue be closed?
This issue can be closed with a PR that either creates a new guide about generally applying for compute time on a super computer, or adds information to the existing Blue Waters guide.
