ContentBasedImageRetrieval
To improve the performance of content based image retrieval by using tree like structures to describe high level image features in addition to the usage of color and texture features. Implemented using Python and OpenCV. Color histograms, multilevel 2D Discrete Wavelet Transform decomposition of image regions and safe color cube based segmentation are used to extract features. Chi-squared distance and Minkowski distance are used to rank database images with respect to query image.
