Ability to utilize self-hosted registry + authentication with TFC?

Hi,

I'm wondering how one could utilize self-hosted registry based on your idea presented in this repository + lambda custom authenticator along with Terraform Cloud? As there's no clear way to configure .terraformrc perhaps there's a way around this?
