macOS old-rel check failure on CRAN for 'ggpp' 0.5.8

Version 0.5.8 passed cheks during submission to CRAN and is now the current version. The update was minor. However, I now see at https://cran.r-project.org/web/checks/check_results_ggpp.html an ERROR for macOS old-rel, both for arm64 an x86_64.
I am stuck as I do not have access to this system configuration to rerun the checks locally. The error surprises me, and I have no clue of what could be the problem. It is also possible that the error is triggered by a bug elsewhere rather than in 'ggpp'...
I have posted a message in the mail list r-package-devel@r-project.org asking for help.
Meanwhile, 'ggpp' binaries at CRAN for macOS old-rel are those from 'ggpp' 0.5.7. (The bug fixed in 0.5.8 affects only code examples in two help pages and is related to a check for availability of a suggested package).
So, I think, this problem should not affect users of 'ggplot2.utils'.
The problem was triggered by wrong test logic for the availability of 'ggrepel' in 'ggpp' vignette, together with temporary unavailabilty of 'ggrepel' for macOS under old-rel. Fixed in 0.5.8-1.
